Committees
The Foundation's mission and vision are achieved through the effort of board members and other volunteers who graciously serve on The Foundation's six working committees.
Overview of The Foundation's Committees
The Executive Committee has responsibility for managing The Foundation between meetings of the Board of Directors.
The Research Committee has responsibility for developing guidelines for and overseeing the Research arm of The Foundation and shall present to and be responsible for advising the Board of Directors on all matters regarding research.
The Education Committee has responsibility for developing guidelines for and overseeing the Education arm of The Foundation and shall present to and be responsible for advising the Board of Directors on all matters regarding education.
The Finance Committee has responsibility for developing guidelines for and overseeing the Finance and Investment arm of The Foundation and shall present to and be responsible for advising the Board of Directors on all matters regarding financial management and accounting.
The Fundraising Committee has responsibility for developing guidelines for and overseeing the development activities of The Foundation and shall present to and be responsible for advising the Board of Directors on all matters regarding marketing and fundraising activities.
The Board Development Committee has responsibility for recruiting and developing a slate of nominees for The Foundation's restricted and unrestricted Board seats, as well as for Board orientation and development.
