Chester Haddan Scholarship

About the Chester Haddan Scholarship

The Foundation has partnered with the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (the Academy) to award the Chester Haddan Scholarship, which supports individuals who are pursuing an education in orthotics and prosthetics (O&P) through an O&P practitioner program. Chester Haddan Scholarships include a $1,000 cash award. Up to one  Chester Haddan Scholarship is given annually to a deserving O&P practitioner program student.

The Chester Haddan Scholarship was established in honor of Chester Haddan, CPO, the first President of the American Board for Certification of Orthotists, Prosthetists & Pedorthists

Applicants must be enrolled in a CAAHEP-accredited O&P practitioner program and meet all of the the following criteria:

Applicants are responsible for ensuring all materials are received by The Foundation by the due dates posted deadline. Application materials must be received by 5:00pm Eastern Time on the posted deadline.
